What’s your favorite vacation spot? And why?

Tokyo, Japan. I’ve been lucky enough to travel there many times to visit my grandparents and experience the unique culture. Not to mention, eat some incredible food.

Why did you become a financial advisor/what inspired you to work in finance?

I saw how finances impacted my family from a very young age. I witnessed their struggle and quickly learned the importance of establishing a solid financial plan. When I learned more about a career in financial advising, I realized it was the perfect combination of two things I really enjoy: applying math and helping people.

I am happiest when…

…I am doing things I’m passionate about and working towards accomplishing my goals. I always strive to grow and learn and enjoy physically and mentally pushing myself to excel!

What hobbies do you enjoy?

I have always enjoyed a lot of hobbies, from wrestling, surfing, and weight lifting, but right now, I’m working on perfecting my golf game. I’m also passionate about sports, particularly the Lakers and Chargers.

What is your most treasured family tradition? And why?

Celebrating the Japanese New Year. The New Year is one of the biggest celebrations of any Japanese holiday. My family will get together and eat soba noodles representing health and longevity. I cherish any occasion that connects me to my family and Japanese heritage.
