Cianna recently joined Platt Wealth Management as an Administrative Assistant and brings a diverse background in data analytics, financial management, and communications. Prior to joining the firm, she spent more than three years at Rady Children’s Hospital, where she began in marketing and transitioned to the Foundation. Her experience there included supporting donor relationships, managing financial transactions, and analyzing data to inform decision-making.
Cianna earned her bachelor’s degree from Chapman University, where she studied Broadcast Journalism and Documentary Film with a minor in Film Music, and later earned her Master of Science in Business Analytics from the University of San Diego. She is currently working towards becoming a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®).
Outside of work, Cianna enjoys building with LEGO®, visiting theme parks, biking, playing trombone with friends, and singing in her temple choir.
I am really passionate about biking. I used to do long 25-mile rides. However, now I stick to casual weekend rides to get outside and stay active.
Two organizations that mean a lot to me are the Jewish Community Center (JCC) and Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego (BBBS). I grew up at the JCC, attending preschool, going to summer camp, and competing in the JCC Maccabi Games. I worked and volunteered at their preschool every summer for eight years. I also currently volunteer with BBBS as a "Big Sister", taking my "Little" on outings twice a month. Giving back to youth and community programs is something I really care about.
Every year since 2023, I have been taking my dad to a Padres game at Petco Park when the Los Angeles Dodgers come to town. I am a Dodgers fan, and he is a Padres fan. Even though we are rooting for opposing teams, it is my most treasured tradition because we always have a great time spending that quality time together.
The best gift I have ever received was the chance to come to the United States. I have so many opportunities here that I would not have had in China.
My favorite spot in San Diego is Lake Miramar, especially early in the morning. It's my favorite spot to watch the sunrise and go for a great bike ride.
