Devan joined Platt Wealth Management in 2023 after a long career in the zoological field. With a background in animal care and guest experience, she brings a compassionate, people-focused approach to her work and enjoys building meaningful relationships with clients. As a Senior Client Service Associate, Devan supports clients throughout their relationship with Platt Wealth Management and plays an integral role in the firm’s day-to-day operations, compliance, marketing initiatives, and client events.
Originally from Southern California, Devan resides in Austin, Texas, and works remotely from the Lone Star State. Outside of work, she enjoys rock climbing, going to the gym, exploring Austin with her friends, and spending time with her dog, Beau. She also enjoys visiting San Diego to spend time with the PWM team and her family whenever she gets the chance!
I am happiest and most at peace when I am out in the wilderness. I love backpacking and immersing myself in nature, without cell service, where there is nothing else I could or should be doing other than living in the moment and taking in the beauty around me.
I have always been extremely passionate about conservation and sustainability. I support Zoos and other conservation organizations that work tirelessly to save species from extinction and preserve our natural resources and environment. I frequently donate to grassroots organizations and volunteer locally to participate in trash cleanups or invasive species removal. Anything I can do to reduce my carbon footprint and help reverse our effect on the environment.
Reduce, reuse, recycle. I bet you haven’t heard that one in a while! It is something that I constantly think about. In everything I do, every purchase I make, I consider the effect it will have on the environment and try to minimize it in any way I can.
My favorite vacation spots are National Parks in the states and internationally. Appreciating the awe-inspiring landscapes and observing wildlife never gets old. There is so much to do, see, and explore.
I love helping clients through the financial planning process and getting to know what truly matters to them. I enjoy learning about their goals, dreams, and priorities and seeing how all the pieces come together to support them.
